Astralara is an entertainment app that offers personality forecasts and reflective insights inspired by astrology and your own patterns. We take your privacy seriously and collect only what we need to personalize your experience. Astralara is not a medical or scientific tool and should not be used as a substitute for professional advice.
Information We Collect
- Birth data: date, time, and location of birth — used to compute your astrological profile and natal chart.
- Check-ins & journal: mood check-ins, energy/stress ratings, and any notes you choose to write — used to compare forecasts against your actual experience.
- Preferences: focus areas, mood preferences, and reminder settings.
- Account: email address for authentication and account management.
- Device: a device token for delivering push notifications if you enable them.
How We Use Your Data
- To generate your daily archetype, forecasts, and personalized insights.
- To improve forecast accuracy by comparing predictions with your check-ins.
- To send optional reminders you explicitly enable.
- To process premium subscriptions and manage your account.
Third-Party Services
- Stripe — processes subscription payments securely. We do not store your card details.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging / Apple Push Notification service — delivers push notifications to your device.
- Open-Meteo — geocodes your birth location to coordinates for chart math.
Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is retained while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile screen — this action cannot be undone.
Your Rights
You may access, correct, or delete your personal data. Disabling reminders stops notifications. Deleting your account removes your profile, forecasts, check-ins, and journal entries.
Children's Privacy
Astralara is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
